I’ll be selling pottery at Alpine Earth Garden’s holiday market. It’s sure to be magical. Saturday Dec 20th 12-4

I didn’t get quite as much pottery made this year, but I did focus on the items I know just about everyone loves to give and receive. Scroll for a peek at some of the pieces I will have for sale.
See you out there!

P.S. if you can’t make this event, you can find me at two events that I will post about.

I will be at the Silverthorne First Friday/ 4th of July Party at Rainbow Park tomorrow @5 pm.
It’s going to be doubly fun celebrating Independence Day, our awesome community and gorgeous summer evenings in the mountains. Food, live music, kid activities, and a local artist market

Come say hi and maybe pick up some sweet Montane wares near the beer garden.
The kiln is currently cooling, full of some real gems (I hope 🙈🤞)
See you out there!

Looking forward to kicking off my market season tomorrow at the Dillon Farmers Market

I’ve got a good restock of everyone’s favorites: mountain mugs and espresso cups!

It feels a little like a miracle to have anything to show right now. As many working parents can attest to, I’m in a busy stage of life and now… I’ve decided to take my EMT training out of the emergency room and into the field - I’m in the home stretch of a fire academy and hoping to step into the Fire and EMS world asap.
It’s a huge and exciting change for me and my family and I really can’t wait for all the new skills and experience I’ll gain and the opportunity to serve my community in a new way.

But don’t worry, pottery isn’t going anywhere for me. Im simply going pottery “lite” for the next year or so, doing fewer markets and commissions (in reality, I’ve been in the studio less than usual since January and inactive on social media) I have every intention to stoke the pottery fires again as soon as it makes sense. 🔥

I hope to see as many of your beautiful faces as I possible this summer. Come say hi June 13 (tomorrow) and June 20th at the Dillon Farmers Market 9am-2pm. More market dates to come…

Slowly carving my way through my favorite mug pattern. Seriously, it’s slow. It too my most of the day to do 4 yesterday. Art can be slow, it’s part of the process and what makes it meaningful and valued.
Not every piece takes this much time, but I do put this much thought and care into every piece I make. Creating things intentionally brings me joy and keeps me hungry to create more.

Pasqueflower. Latin name: Pulsatilla Nuttalliana. Always the first to pop up around these parts. I do love these little fuzzy purple friends- they bring me so much hope and anticipation for longer, warmer, greener days ahead.

After a hiccup in my health a hospital stay and saying goodbye to my gallbladder I am recovering better than I imagined!

In an effort to win the race of recovery I am making like the tortoise and not the hare (as my surgeon recommended) and slowly ramping up studio productions and all the other things.

Today I painted wax resist on mug butts and have been drawing lots and lots of mountains. Next step is glazing and loading the kiln.

I might not have as much product as I had hoped for going into summer- but isn’t that life?! Crushed expectations could get me down, but I’m just so damn grateful for my health that is healing me so quickly and my incredible support system of friends, family and medical providers.
Life is beautiful and hard and full of surprises. I’m so happy I’m here doing what I love experiencing this one life fully. What a gift!

I finally got my hands back in the mud last week.
Here’s a peek at a project that has been on my list for some time now and I’m finally getting to. And it has been so much fun to play around with.

Beer Steins!

Maybe you guessed their purpose or maybe you thought they were mugs for serious coffee drinkers… that’s not out of the question, but I think they’ll best serve your après needs…

First batch of 25 will be at in the next couple of weeks.

Now, I’m drying them out slowly and will begin the process of firing, glazing and firing again this weekend or next week.

Woooweee! Time for a little break. For family, for rest, for friends for myself and for my business.

Thank YOU for helping me find so much joy, growth and success in sharing my pottery and other art with you this year!
Your support and engagement in my work has made a huge difference- it’s hard to explain with words how helpful and meaningful it is when you choose to support and shop small businesses, but it’s BIG.

I’ve learned so much and wow do I feel so deeply enriched and blessed by this path I’ve chosen.
Peace, Love and Joy be with you.

I’ll be checking social media time to time, but generally taking a break from the gram until the new year. So feel free to message me through my website. Link in bio.

Cheers!
