Millie, milz, squeak, and forever Milna after the town in Croatia my sister & BIL got engaged in 🤍

When my sister was in elementary school, she started a dog walking business charging $1 per walk to raise money to get her own puppy. We’ve known she’s wanted a teeny floof of her own in adulthood and I’ve taken my puppy finding job very seriously. When messaged me about two cavipoo puppies that had been surrendered, it felt like the perfect time to see if this little lady would finally be that little fooof and was she ever! We thought we’d have to convince to get on board but he obviously also fell head over heels with that little face immediately!

Milna was a little spitfire since the minute we met her. She’s brave, adventurous, so smart, mastered running up and down the stairs and eventually jumping off them in one try. She loves to try to convince Lenny she’s fun (he’s convinced she’s fairly boring) and loves to sneak up and bite Dee’s tail. She stupid cute & has never met a creature she doesn’t love on sight. Her favorite things include chew toys, my teva slippers, and chasing leaves blowing in the street.

This bougie lady now lives the city life & with her petite frame hopes to become a world traveler. She has a wonderful extended family of aunties (myself included!) and grandparents who already love her dearly. We can’t wait to see how this lovely lady grows up and who she becomes! Stoked to extend the Suriel-Ganser family with a new niece 🥹

I got to meet these beautiful ladies yesterday only to find out they are insta famous - 🤍 Can’t wait to see them slay the streets of Dubai and hopefully find some snow to roll in 😢 Vania, we’ll miss you!

My mom recently told a friend I only paint dogs who have died — and while that is not true and I prefer to learn about and paint dogs who are still adventuring, it has become an absolute privilege to also capture the heart and soul of dogs who have crossed the rainbow bridge and learn about their lives.

Jager is one of those boys - though we never met, I know I would have loved him *almost* as much as his humans. Those deep, engaging eyes capture your soul and drag you in. He was best friend & was so one with nature sometimes you’d wonder if that’s where he belonged.

When first met my Bear Boy, Bear Logan immediately entered the chat. This big buddy is not only the cutest lab on the block, he is a son and a brother. He was the glue to the Logan family for his many years and is now oh so fondly missed 🤍

Fernie dernie, fernie, kangaroo jack, jumping bean, peanut, baby girl, and forever Fern 🤍

and I saw Fern’s shelter photo & immediately knew she had to come to Colorado to meet her twin Lenny. She fit into our pack and somehow convinced Dee that three is better than two when she didn’t even believe that when Bear was alive. Jim is better with boundaries so we knew we couldn’t keep her but loved her with our whole hearts. She played dress up, frolicked in our favorite fields, came on runs, and slept in her crate with a grace our own loons can’t claim.

She spent time with and who love her just as much as we do and was lucky to get a sting with before finding her absolute perfect fit.
hartigan and Fern now get to grow up together as a dynamic duo and we can’t wait to see how she matures.

Baby B, brucey bru, baby, baby boy, pip, Petey, gremlin, piraña, and forever BRUCE!

This little baby took both our home and the internet by storm. We didn’t realize how much our hearts and souls needed some puppy snuggles and to be able to share it with yall these past two weeks has been nothing short of magical. Bruce’s favorite things include leggie, flesh, toys, Lenny’s tongue and 🍆, barking at Dee to try to convince her to play, walkies, FOOD, snuggles, new humans, and bones. The dislike list is short and includes loud barking and wild p**p bags.

Bruce stole all of our hearts and had a number of wonderful families interested in him. Sometimes the hardest part of fostering is seeing the broken hearts when he does find his home. But that home is the absolute perfect fit, so we know everyone will understand 🤍

Bruce has big shoes to fill as his new humans two prior dogs were pretty special. Copper and Paxil were both their humans soul dogs, and Bruce has already been gifted their old favorite toys and outfits. No doubt he’ll fill those shoes and then some in his own special way.

Bruce now lives in the mountains and will get to walk the Brown Dog Loop daily (his heart is brown so it still works 😂) and will grow up to climb mountains, train for triathlons, and backcountry ski with and . We hope to see him on the slopes!!

Vi, V, jelly bean, jelly belly, piglet, and forever PENDING!! This s***ky little lady was found on the streets of Texas and subsequently wiggled her way to Colorado through ! She was shy for about 20 minutes and then hit our house like a storm of kisses, tug of war, lots of running, snuggles, and dental cleanings.

She learned to dig, clean Lenny’s teeth incessantly, walrus in her own way, stay out of Dee’s mouth, that the basement is a jungle gym, and that the flirt pole is everyone’s favorite toy. Best of all, the one time I cried while she was here she wrapped herself around my neck like a scarf and nuzzled right up into my cheek. She’s a good cookie 🤍

With the energy to match her s***k, she was selective of her final landing place and we are thrilled she has finally met her match 🤍 Snickers is a beautiful boy about the same size but counters her pogo stick hops with his own belly roll. He’s going to teach her to run around Cheeseman park and camp across Colorado while she gives him a little nudge to go for walks in the dark. We can’t wait to see what this dynamic duo get up to to celebrate their moms birthday and gottcha days all in the same week forever. Just wait til you see them, she looks just like her mama .n.m_28 🤍

Besides having the best name, she’s one of my friends best friend so is therefore one of my besties. She’s one of the most perfect (and vocal) dogs to walk the earth and she’ll make sure you know it.

Shes been by ’s side since sophomore year of collage and they’ve been inseparable ever since (maybe this is what happens when you bring a dog into a college hippie community house). She is the best running buddy and never misses a mile. You can always find her just an arms let away 🤍

From strolling around campus together, graduating nursing school together, becoming NPs together, meeting together, moving around the country together, raising chickens then puppies and now a baby tougher, they are a dynamic duo 🤍

She’s always down to share a snack, and her longevity and good health certainly is because she eats the yolk to every one of Marlena’s eggs, and if you know Marlena that’s a lot of yolks 😂

Her claim to fame is going head to head with a mountain goat to protect her family during their engagement photo session. Sneaks 0, mountain goats 1.

Catch her trying to wrangle her two beautiful younger sisters Birdie & Moose on any trail, this girl is one to meet.

Stew, stew canoe, Stewie dew, stew kazoo, Stewart little, stewieeeeee, and forever Stewart 🤍

Part chihuahua, part bat, part wiener dog, part rat 🤷🏼‍♀️ This little thing danced into our lives and turned us into small dog lovers. We elected to teach him dance instead of sit because it’s fricken adorable. He waltzed all over Lenny and even convinced the queen to serve as his mobile resting place. He slept through the night and only p**ped inside a few times. He curled up to sleep on every car ride and really seemed to enjoy Jim’s convertible. Did we seriously think about adopting him after finding him snuggled up in our Bear blanket & decide we can’t adopt another dog unless Dee chooses it only to find them curled up together in our bed? Yes, yes we did.

And even better — he’s now officially our nephew & Len & Dee’s COUSIN! Mr Stewart (his legal name) has an incredible new mom who is going to spoil him rotten, is thinking of training him to go to school with her to be a speech path dog, will certainly sew him some incredible ball gowns and accessories, will take him paddle boarding all around the Midwest, he has many a furry cousin to play with & grandparents that can’t wait to dote on his every need! Best of all we get to see him every time we visit Jim’s family 🤍

I had the privilege of getting to know Roscoe in his 16th & 17th years, including celebrating his 17th birthday party, and am oh so grateful for that. Roscoe was at ’s side through her 20s, travel nursing around the country, adding Andre and to the pack, raising two strong little humans, and so much in between. The snaggle tooth, the whiskers, the sass and oh so much love. Roscoe, you are missed 🤍
