Ugly flames. So good.🔥

ラットスタイルなリアフェンダーに合わせて、あえて下地は剥がさずオーバーペイント。

この野暮いフレームスお気に入り。
の色彩センスと、クリアで質感を合わせてくれたおかげで、バッチリ決まりました！

あとは乗って、汚れて、傷が付いて。育ってくれたら最高!

オーダーありがとうございました。

オーバーペイントは金額を抑えられるのがメリットですが、ベース外装のダメージなどが原因で剥がれ等の不具合が出た場合は、その点についてはノークレームでお願いいたします🙇‍♂️⚠️

人気のワイドグライド純正フレームスを、スポーツスタータンク用にバランスよくリデザインしました。

ただ小さく縮めるのではなく、タンクの形に合わせて炎の流れやロゴ位置を調整し、無理なく自然に見えるよう落とし込んでいます。

「あのデザインを自分のバイクにも入れてみたい」
「純正っぽい雰囲気でカスタムペイントしたい」
そんなご相談もお気軽にどうぞ。

I had the honor of participating in Party at the Pen.

A huge thank you to and for the invitation!

And thank you to for providing the tins.

I’d also like to thank everyone involved in making this display happen. It was an incredible experience, and I truly appreciate all the hard work that went into it.

The driftwood display was absolutely beautiful, and I’m grateful that the piece was presented in such a unique and thoughtful way.

This paint job was inspired by traditional Japanese Raden craftsmanship (mother-of-pearl inlay), combined with the flame designs that have become a signature part of my work.

The shell pieces were carefully shaped and inlaid by hand, creating different reflections and expressions depending on the viewing angle.

If you’d like to learn more about the paintwork, I shared the details in my previous post.

I’ve also included a few photos from the build process so you can see how the piece came together.

This project was created with deep respect for both traditional Japanese craftsmanship and 70’s custom culture.

🔥 🔥

Built for Party at the Pen this weekend in Ohio.

First, a huge thank you to for recommending me and giving me the opportunity to be part of this incredible show.

Also, a special thanks to for supplying the tank for this project.

The only direction I was given was simple:

“Paint the best thing you can.”

I explored a few different concepts, but ultimately decided to push my signature flame style even further.

For this piece, I incorporated traditional Japanese raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) techniques into custom paint. Genuine nautilus shell was inlaid into the surface, then enhanced with layered airbrushed gradient flames designed to bring out every color and reflection hidden within the shell.

The goal wasn’t just to create flames—it was to create something that changes as the light hits it, revealing new details from every angle.

Photos can only show so much.

塗らせてもらった
のチョッパーが
表紙になりました。

中学の頃、親父に借りて読んでたバイブス。
数十年後、自分たちの塗ったバイクが
表紙になるなんて言ったら、
あの頃の自分はきっと驚くだろうな。

カトリ、表紙おめでとう。

A chopper by that I had the chance to paint
made the front cover.

Back in junior high, I used to borrow my dad’s VIBES and read it.
If someone told me that decades later
a bike we painted would be on the cover,
I wouldn’t have believed it.
