Third Wing Studio

Third Wing Studio The Third Wind Studio hosts the watercolor paintings of Karen Norman as well as group art classes. She works in still life and landscape.

Karen received her Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Maryland in 1979. She is a signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society and Potomac Valley Watercolorists. Karen’s work expresses the inherent beauty of the creation in color, form, and pattern. As an artist, she believes her work is a reflective medium conveying her particular interpretation of the subject matter to the viewer

through the medium of watercolor. She taught watercolor at the University of Maryland University College for the past several years and is now teaching a summer watercolor class at the Smithonian.
