One last note to my wonderful Rhinoceros cast and creative team: I just want to say how proud I am of all of you. Watching what you built together left me silently in awe.
The reviewers recognized the real heart behind this production. A three-and-a-half-hour absurdist play is no small mountain to climb, and you climbed it with focus, courage, and generosity.
Pierre, your Berenger gave the world of the play its emotional center. The reviewer’s praise for the grounded, genuine work onstage says so much about the strength of this ensemble.
The audience mask moment clearly landed, and I’m so glad the review saw the power in it. That was one of those choices that reminded me why live theatre matters.
Huge love to production and the sound team, too—the stampeding rampages did exactly what they needed to do and helped pull the audience right into the terror and momentum of the piece.
Thank you to my tour de force Cast; your artistry, professionalism and collaboration made it possible for my vision to resonate and be felt throughout – it came through beautifully.
Please take the praise in. You earned it. I’m grateful to each of you, and I’m so proud of what we made together. And now, let’s see what the majesty of creation has in store next for Live Garra Theatre …
