Amor y Luz Music Amor Y Luz is a crossover duo that creates a unique blend of classical and Latin American music. For bookings email: [email protected]

Amor y Luz is a Latin American classical crossover duo providing a transformational experience for audiences through powerful lyrics, sing-alongs, and dance. The duo explores soaring vocal harmonies and a vintage Latin American repertoire informed by their Irish-Afro-Puerto Rican and Czech-Italian-Spanish-American heritages. Kutasha Silva is the ethereal singing siren and professional cellist, and Amy Vitro is the playful “band in a box” piquing listeners’ curiosity about what instrument she will play next. Together they are on a mission to share their mixed heritages, spreading well-being, joy, and inspiration to all who listen.

What a joy! Amor y Luz kicked off Brookdale Porchfest on Dover Court with our blend of classical and Latin American music — and the energy was magic. Kids twirled, neighbors danced, and the smell of fresh El Jefe wood-fired pizza floated through the air. Huge thanks to Abner Oakes for producing the event, and to On a Sensual Note for sharing the stage. What a beautiful community night in Brookdale, Maryland!

Listen and open your eyes. Enjoy all the beauty life has to offer. It certainly was beautiful to share our music at the 49th National Women's Music Festival in Madison, Wisconsin! This song, "Madre Tierra", was first made popular by the Puerto Rican artist Chayanne. The song explores the depth of human strength and our endless positive spirit. The Latin Pop tune also highlights the joy found in life’s simple things and showcases the beauty surrounding us.
