We're glad you can be here to sing along to another beautiful tune on the Daily Antidote of Song! Our guest today is Wes Weddell, who joins us from Seattle to teach his original, "Still We Move." It was such a lovely song with a great message. Then he and our host, Alastair Moock chatted about Wes's involvement in The Bushwick Book Club Seattle, and how art inspires art! We also enjoyed a video from Carol Maillard of Sweet Honey in the Rock. We had so much fun with these two awesome musicians, thank you to everyone who make our program possible.

Welcome to another episode of the Daily Antidote of Song! We are delighted to be introduced to the music of Judy Kass. She taught us two of her original songs, beginning with "Common Ground," and then "Hopeful Hearts." She also chatted with our host, Dr. Kim Harris, about music, community, and Music Works, a program for school children. It was so wonderful to sing with Judy and all our DAS family, thank you for being here!

Welcome to another day of resistance singing here on the Daily Antidote of Song. We are joined by song Leader Rik Palieri, and host Reggie Harris to hear two amazing songs! First we sang "Trump, Your Kingdom Must Come Down," and then "Carry Us Through/Here We Are." Reggie and Rik chatted about solidarity singers, and the ways we use music to create positive social change. We learned a lot from our conversation today, and as always everyone really enjoyed singing with Rik. Thank you so much for being a part of the DAS!

Today on the Daily Antidote of Song we have a whole handful of wonderful songs for you! We sang with Heather Pierson, Bernice Martin ( of Heart Songs & Circle Songs), and Emma's Revolution. First we heard Heather and Bernice sing "The Calling In Song," Our guests had a discussion about how Heather and Bernice began singing together, their upcoming projects, and how music inspires hope. Then Pat & Sandy sung "Sing People Sing," and we closed with "Let There Be Light." We has so much fun singing, see you tomorrow!

The word Hope is defined as "wanting a good outcome to occur while believing there is a chance it might come true, even when total certainty is missing." (Miriam Webster). This week we are thinking about hope through our quote, article, and organization (find links in the comments) – join us to explore these expressions of hope as we try to strengthen our own – because as we’ve sung at the top of our lungs with Emma's Revolution, “Hope changes everything!”

Welcome to day 2332 of the Daily Antidote of Song! We are overjoyed to be singing today with Munit Mesfin, who taught us Bob Marley & The Wailers' song, "Thank You Lord." It was such a powerful and exciting song to learn, and we absolutely loved getting to hear her sing! She also spoke with Alastair Moock Music about spiritual liberation, the Rasta movement, and her perspective as an Ethiopian. It was such a fascinating perspective and a great discussion, be sure to tune in again tomorrow for more DAS!
