Silver Bay YMCA is a retreat center on Lake George, NY

The Lutheran Summer Gathering provides a week of vacation unlike any other. The Gathering ties together outdoor recreation, worship, learning & adventure in a safe, friendly environment. Silver Bay offers a full roster of all-inclusive amenities and activities on the 700-acre Adirondack Park campus, including arts & crafts, fitness, sports, meeting new people, and youth and children's programming.

You can swim and paddle on one of the cleanest lakes in the world, hike the many groomed trails, paint in watercolor, take in a concert or lecture, or relax on the Inn porch in one of their famous rockers. For more information, check out https://silverbay.org/

Pictured here in the lineage of Deans with Steve Harris, Rev. Marie Jerge and Rev. Charlie Bang. Before them, Rev. Gus Wedemeyer and Rev. Paul C. White served as Deans. Together, these 6 faithful servants represent our spiritual leadership from 1932 to today.

Another wonderful year of Lutherans & EMPs on the 🥎 softball field! A closely contested game in the end won by the Lutherans 13-10. But more importantly a great spirit, three generations of Schmelters and Steinforts, two generations of Keiths, a Bishop behind home plate, and over $1000 raised by the youth group to support ELCA World Hunger.
