Happy New Year, lovelies! ✨

This year I have decided to do a series that consists of inspirational women throughout history.

Today I am inspired by the beautiful Maya Angelou.

Maya’s career started with singing and dancing then progressed to journalism, civil rights activist, memoirist, poet and screenwriter.
She passionately defended the rights of women as well as social and racial justice. She wrote beautiful words and fought for what she believed in. A true heroine and a beautiful soul.
