Something I did on a whim. 😅

(In a months time)

This is all scrap fabric! It’s 6.5’ x 7’ ‼️

And now that it’s hung I don’t think it’s completed…
But I have to stare at it a few more times before I decide why 😂

What do you think??

I think I’d like to try more (smaller) pieces. Could make some cute ones for kids rooms or idk yet but I really liked the creativity of making it all come together. ✨

Honestly, sometimes while i paint i am sure im messing it up… then i stand back and am surprised myself 😂 haha.

*if you don’t know me well… I didn’t go into art.. and had a totally different career before kids.
I have a very creative family. So, i knew i had a liiitle in me. However, didnt start painting until into my 20’s.

So, i am learning as i go, as a late bloomer 😅❤️

I was definitely questioning myself as i was adding her fur but when i was done i loved her!😇

I said I’d share some creative things I do with the kids
To be honest, this is a new venture for both of us 😇

My mom has knitted some things for us in the past and just gave us all her yarn and looms when we saw her last. My daughter has been asking to knit for probably a year. So it’s perfect!

She is 5, btw. I feel like this is pretty good for her first day of trying?! But obviously, I know I’m biased 😂

Don’t be scared to try crafts or let the kids join in.
It’s sooo good for their minds, motor skills, and even their confidence. ☀️

We have added arts and crafts + sensory play since they were babies and I really think it’s been amazing for them.

Anyway, enjoy this little clip. Hoping to dive into more homemade goods in 2026 with them.. and share what we do here, too.

Hey everyone 💁🏼‍♀️

I created this page with a little push from loved ones 😉 I don’t know exactly where it will lead.
Since becoming a mom, finding ways to be more creative has been a great thing for me.

I’m hoping to share the little and big projects I do. For me, for others, and with my kids so that you might be able to join in, too. ✨

If you want paintings or murals, I have done commissions of both! (This painting is one from years ago)

But also, I’m excited to just share more of what I do at home for those moms looking for ideas to keep their kids busy.

And honestly… probably lots of other random artsy things.
