New England Music Camp blends a high-quality and intensive musical education with popular sports and recreational activities on Lake Messalonskee in Sidney, Maine. Session 2, you were one for the books! 🎶💚

From celebrating 90 incredible years with alumni, to performing under the lights during our POPs Concert, this session was packed with unforgettable moments. We cheered on our talented musicians during the Concerto Competition performance, danced together at the Trombone Shorty concert, showed off our competitive spirit during Camp Olympics, and filled every day with music, laughter, and lifelong friendships.

Whether on stage, on the field, or around campus, Session 2 reminded us that the magic of New England Music Camp is found in every note played, every memory made, and every tradition shared. Here’s to even more fun during session 3! ❤️🎺☀️

A huge thank you to Jim Phelan for spending time with our woodwind musicians! 🎶

Campers had the opportunity to explore the fascinating acoustics of the oboe and flute, learning how these incredible instruments are made and how they produce their unique sounds. Jim also generously shared his expertise by completing instrument adjustments for many of our campers, helping them get the most out of their instruments.

We’re so grateful for his knowledge, generosity, and support of our young musicians. Thank you, Jim! 🎶
