As we all recover from Cheyenne County Fair week 2021, we would like to extend some very large "Thank You's" to all who made the week possible.
-To the 4H kids and their families who worked so hard this year to raise and prep your animals and/or your static exhibits, Thank You for all of your hard work, you ARE what this fair is all about!
-The Extension Office for your hard work organizing events year round and helping each child reach their successes by setting them up from the beginning.
-Fairboard members for their sleepless nights during fair week to have grounds prepped for each event. For the year round prep meetings and being a liason with the 4H kids to make the best experience for the community and also a fun week as a reward for the 4H kids.
- Community support by attending the Livestock Auction, grandstands events, or strolling the grounds to see all of the projects.
-Community Businesses for banner sponsorships, purchasing and/or attending the Livestock auction to help kids continue the program next year, or donations of equipment/vehicles/etc. All sponsors/donors are greatly appreciated and take the fair to new heights.
- All of the "behind the scenes" helpers who help prep the grounds for weeks before, those who help with specific events, or even the Sidney Football team, Sidney Danz Team, Sidney Cheer Team, and the local Boy Scouts troop who helped clean the stands each evening, took ticket sales, and helped set up and take down the concert stage and lights.
-Food vendors who brought the best options for all to enjoy. The Cheyenne County Farm Bureau for sponsoring the Free BBQ at the Rodeo.
Again, there are endless amounts of people to Thank this year, but we couldn't list them all even if we tried, it takes a Community to make this happen each year and we are beyond excited to start prepping for next year as we build on what we had this year.
