🚶‍♀️👟 COMMUNITY INDOOR WALKING HOURS: JUNE 1–5 👟🚶‍♂️

Well folks... this week our buildings have decided they would like to be VERY popular. 😅

Between the Primary Election on June 2, the LYREC Annual Meeting on June 4, and a wedding June 5-7th, our walking areas will be changing throughout the week as we work around these important community events.

So if you show up and think, "Wait... wasn't I supposed to walk over there?" the answer is probably yes... yesterday. 😂

We appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility as we continue to provide indoor walking opportunities while also hosting the many events that keep our fairgrounds busy year-round.

🏃 Walking Hours: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Walking locations may vary daily this week
💙 Please check the signs each day as to where walking routes are available.

Thank you for bearing with us during our version of Olympic-level building scheduling! We promise we're not trying to make the walking route a scavenger hunt... it just kind of worked out that way this week. 😉

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙

Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave everything so we could enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

Here in Richland County, we are especially thankful for the generations of service members, veterans, and military families who have shaped and protected our communities and our nation. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As you spend time with family and friends this weekend, attend ceremonies, fly your flags, and enjoy the freedoms we cherish, we encourage everyone to take a quiet moment to remember the true meaning of this day.
