🎬 The Centre Theatre Fan Club is now open! 🎬

I’ve created a private group for the people who truly care about the future of the Centre Theatre.

This isn’t about donations.
This isn’t about drama.
This isn’t about politics.

This is about community.

It’s a place where we can share ideas, have honest conversations, celebrate victories, learn from mistakes, and build something special together.

Members will receive exclusive updates, behind-the-scenes content, early announcements, special opportunities, and a chance to help shape what comes next.

The theater is still here.

The dream is still alive.

In fact, we could focus on showing movies tomorrow. But before we do that, I want to build something even more important: a strong community behind the screen.

☀️ Sunday Thoughts from the Centre Theatre ☀️

Today, I just want to be honest with our community.

Many people have shared ideas on how to save a small town theater, and we’re thankful for every suggestion. The truth is, we’ve tried a lot of them. We’ve hosted private events, community gatherings, free movie nights, special concessions, and more. Some have worked, some haven’t, and some taught us lessons we never expected to learn.

What many don’t know is that the Morales family came to Sidney knowing absolutely nobody. No family. No lifelong friends. No built-in support system. Just a dream, a willingness to work hard, and a belief that this theater was worth fighting for.

Some may look at our struggles and see failure. We see growth.

We’re not afraid to try something new. We’re not afraid to fail. We’re not afraid to get back up and try again.

The Centre Theatre has hit another roadblock, but roadblocks are not dead ends. They are simply places where we stop, regroup, learn, and keep moving forward.

To those who have supported us, attended a show, rented the theater, bought a popcorn, shared a post, said a prayer, or simply believed in us thank you. You have no idea how much it means.

As long as the Morales family owns the Centre Theatre, we will keep showing up. We will keep learning. We will keep fighting.

And most importantly…

🎬 SALE NIGHT UPDATE – CENTRE THEATRE 🎬

The doors swing open at 6:00 PM!

We’re still setting up and organizing items for the indoor sale, but many items have already been priced and are ready for viewing. Feel free to stop by, look around, and see what treasures you might find.

While you’re here, support the theatre by grabbing some concessions! Popcorn, drinks, candy, and other favorites will be available for purchase.

We’re also setting up our donated projector so guests can relax in the auditorium and enjoy family-friendly short films on the big screen while they shop and snack.

For those who have asked how they can help, we will also have a donation box at the concession stand. While there is absolutely no obligation to donate, every contribution will go directly toward our efforts to repair and restore the theatre’s projection system.

This is Phase 1 of our effort to get the Centre Theatre back up and running, and every purchase, donation, and word of encouragement helps move us one step closer to bringing movies back to Sidney.
