Who is an Outlier? I initially came across the term through mathematics, of course, but the point is that we as victims see ourselves as outliers, alone, off the curve, out there by ourselves, situated away

and detached from the mainstream. We are reaching victims where they are, out there on the fringes, along the margins in their hearts and minds. And though, ironically, there are so many of us, as we move through recovery and into advocacy we truly become Outliers because there are so few who report, so few who tell, so few who get justice. When I was five years old, the babysitter's son stole something from me.

50 Cent gives a compelling interview. This story sits lurking in a dark corner of my conscious mind. I haven’t wanted even to delve into it. I have heard so much of this same story - even lived a version of it when I was just a kindergartner. Maybe I’ll be able to watch this. I dunno. Justice is for the rich and powerful when it comes to sexual trauma. Say I’m lying.
