⭐️CONGRATULATIONS ⭐️

Juju Welborn, pictured with her grandmother that first introduced her to the performing arts. Juju is a senior Paralleled Studios student and has been accepted into the Sands College of Performing Arts at Pace University!

This talented actor and musician will be receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in acting.

While embracing her senior year at Caddo Magnet High School, Juju diligently trained and prepped for her audition last fall. We combined her natural gifts, years of experience, and passion for acting with our in-studio acting lessons…helping her to submit a beautiful, dynamic, and powerful audition that she could be proud of!!✨ She was able to use the audition for all of her virtual, in-person, and call back submissions.
We took time exploring several genres, ultimately landing on two off-kilter monologues that she absolutely brought to life with an organic approach…giving her a unique edge!

Congratulations, Juju!! I know how hard you worked for this and am so proud of you! It was an honor to be a part of your college preparation process and I CAN NOT wait to see you thrive.

Over the past two years, Paralleled Studios has been so lucky to grow and thrive inside the walls of Stage Center's School of Performing Arts — As our amazing community of students has continued to grow, we’ve officially outgrown the space!

So with a humble heart full of gratitude and excitement, I’m thrilled to announce that Paralleled Studios is expanding into a new location with even more availability for lessons!

To every parent and student who has trusted me with your talent —thank you. I am endlessly grateful for your support, and I can’t wait to keep growing with you. 💙

📍 Starting August 4th, all lessons will be held at:

Elizabeth Shoup, a senior Paralleled Studios student, has been accepted into the musical theater program at Florida Southern College🐊❤️

This talented artist is getting her BFA in Musical Theater with a minor is Spanish! She found her love of performance at Stage Center's School of Performing Arts, where she has shined for years!!

We diligently trained and prepped for her audition last fall, while she simultaneously was starring in Mary Poppins Jr. at Stage Center !! We combined her years of musical theatre training with our private in-studio acting & dance lessons…helping her to submit a beautiful audition that she could be proud of!!✨We worked Shakespeare, comedy, extensions, jumps, & so much more!

Congratulations, Elizabeth!! I am SO SO proud of you and it was an honor to be a part of your college preparation process. I CAN NOT wait to see you thrive!

“If I believe in one thing above all it is this: Community over competition. I drill this into my students who are just starting out and intimidated seeing their peers succeed. I remind my established actors that the only person we're ever auditioning against is the character in casting's mind. I encourage every student who steps in front of me to enthusiastically and with heart support their fellow performers who may not succeed as often. And I practice what I preach!”

Claire Kevil, a senior Paralleled Studios student, has been accepted onto the Rice Owls Dance Team !!! 🦉

This talented dancer will be studying biochemistry & molecular biology, but wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the performing arts (and for good reason!!)💙

We diligently trained and prepped for her audition, while she simultaneously was starring in SIX: teen edition at Stage Center!! We combined her years of musical theatre training with our private in-studio dance lessons…helping her to submit a powerhouse audition that she could be proud of!!✨
