Be a part of a one-of-a-kind experience in Downtown Shreveport! The Bourbon and Barbeque Festival is now an event benefiting the Red River Revel. This will be an extraordinary Fourth of July experience featuring amazing bourbon, barbeque, and a private view of the Fourth of July fireworks at the Texas Street Bridge.

Seven area chefs will prepare signature barbeque dishes for attendees. Six fine bourbons, including three barrel picks, will be paired with the barbeque. Reserved parking is included for this concierge-level event where ALL tickets are VIP and maximum capacity is hard-capped at 250 tickets.

The festival map is out with a few reminders!

Here's your FIRST look at the festival layout for tomorrow! Can't wait for the fun to begin? Join us TONIGHT at The Seventh Tap Barrel Proof event, we'll be selling tickets 5 - 8pm if you want to bypass the lines tomorrow! Then join us from 8 - 10pm at C&C Mercantile & Lighting for a VIP Pre-Party featuring Ouro Boar!

A few things to keep in mind:

1. Commerce Street WILL be barricaded so you'll need to find parking in the areas around the Red River District! Luckily, downtown is super walkable.

2. Ticket sales and pass pickup will be at the entrance of the festival. You MUST have a pass and tickets to enjoy samples of bourbon and barbeque.

3. The festival is FREE to enter but leave the kids at home, this is a 21+ experience.

4. Not interested in bourbon? Visit Fatty Arbuckles for wine, beer or cocktails you can purchase.

5. Bring cash AND card. Some barbeque vendors will be selling food separate of the samples they'll be offering.

6. Want more samples? Visit the ticketing booth to buy additional sample tickets which will cost $2 per.

7. Dress comfortably! The weather is supposed to be beautiful but this is still Louisiana and that means it'll still be hot.

8. Pace yourself, there'll be lots of bourbon to sample and food to eat. Don't go too hard at the beginning, these are high proof samples!

9. Stop by the To***co House pop up and grab a cigar! Smoking is fine OUTSIDE, but there's ZERO smoking allowed inside any of our establishments (including the inside of the VIP lounge).

About Shalom:

Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia but currently living in Shreveport Louisiana since 2002 continuing to grow in the Cocktail game with passion for my craft. I have been in the culinary and cocktail industry for 15 years now and currently running the bar program at Franks Louisiana kitchen. My love for the culinary has been growing so rapidly, my ultimate dream is to bring Shreveport a unique experience by fusing Ethiopian fare with Louisiana’s Cajun-Creole cuisine.
