Shorewood Drama Shorewood High School has had a tradition of putting on professional, quality shows since 1935. Additionally, SIS will produce the musical THE LION KING JR.

Shorewood Drama is regularly invited to prestigious drama festivals, such as the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh and the International Thespian Conference in Lincoln, Nebraska. We were the first and only high school in Wisconsin to win two Outstanding Musical TOMMY AWARDS in one season! Members of Shorewood Drama are very excited about the upcoming 2016-2017 season. Shorewood students have performed many well-known shows, including American Idiot, Avenue Q, Little Shop of Horrors, Urinetown, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cabaret, A Chorus Line, Rumors, Les Miserables, Rent, Godspell, Ragtime, Wit, The Laramie Project, Spring Awakening, West Side Story, South Pacific, Lend Me a Tenor, and Aida.

Today is the DAY! We are opening our final production of the 2025-2026 school year, CHICAGO! You absolutely, positively do not want to miss this one. It is a swinging, silly, and somewhat sinister musical infused with dance and a toe-tapping score!

We are just a WEEK & A HALF away from our final production of the 2025-2026 season! For the first time in its history SHS DRAMA will be producing the swinging and sordid musical classic, CHICAGO! Come on out and experience the dreadful delights of our thrilling production! PLEASE NOTE: This production is not recommended for young people under the age of 12. Parental/Caregiver accompaniment recommended.

SHS DRAMA is thrilled to announce our final production of the 2025-2026 season, CHICAGO! Based on a nearly century old satirical play written by journalist, playwright and screenwriter Maurine Dallas Watkins, CHICAGO tells the story of two women - one a chorus girl, another a vaudevillian - accused of murder! Oh, and there is LOADS and LOADS of dancing, singing, and glorious jazz! It is the longest running musical currently running on Broadway, and is a perfect way to end our season!
