Curator and scholar Amy J. Hughes, PhD recently visited the CAT to view sculptures by Stanislav Libenský, and Jaroslava Brychtová in the museum’s collection. The CAT holds one of the largest collections of their work with over 100 objects! She is currently working on many projects about the Czech glass artist duo. We learned so much from her expertise. Thank you, Dr. Hughes!

This month’s blog post is from the CAT’s summer intern, Filsan! A student at Ubah Academy high school, Filsan spent eight weeks at the CAT getting hands-on work experience in our Curatorial, Collections, Guest Services, and Education departments. Click the link in bio to read her reflections on her time at the CAT.
