Dance Academy XIV DA XIV LLC is committed to providing affordable and professional dance classes.

Started in 2011, Dance Academy has been working hard to set a standard of excellence in dance to the Franklin and Cumberland County areas. Voted "Best of" in both counties- we strive to provide a well rounded dance experience for children ages 3+ through a wide range of expertly taught classes, nationwide performance opportunities, and a focus on the growth of each individual student. Our goal is

for each dancer to leave class better, stronger, and more encouraged than before. Now also offering Ninja Academy- parkour and martial arts classes, and Acting Academy- acting and musical theater classes for all ages.

Movement doesn’t have to look a certain way. You don’t have to be the strongest, most flexible, or most experienced person in the room... You just have to show up.

Give yourself the time to move your body, build strength, stretch, breathe, laugh, and reconnect with yourself. The benefits of movement go far beyond what we see on the outside; it’s about how you feel when you leave.

Maybe tonight you need to dance.
Maybe you need to slow down.
Maybe you need to stretch.
Maybe you just need some time that belongs to you.

Whatever your body needs, make time for it. Join us tonight for some of our adult classes:

6:30 PM — Adult Dance Fitness
7:15 PM — Pilates
7:15 PM — Adult Dance
8:00 PM — Yoga

What I Teach: Tutus & Taps, Tiny Tumblers, Hippity Hoppity, Acro, Competition Team
Favorite Dance Style: Jazz�
Favorite Part About Teaching: Watching my dancers grow into themselves and seeing the confidence dancers gain along the way
When I’m not at the Studio: I’m usually spending time with my family or cuddling my animals�
Favorite Food: Grilled Cheese & Pickles (not together)
�Favorite Drink: Sprite or Mt Dew�
Dream Vacation: Costa Rica or Barcelona

Fun Fact About Me (non-dance related): I just got married last weekend!
Fun Fact About Me (dance-related): I participated in the Rockette Summer Intensive in NYC two different times
Advice for My Dancers: You don’t have to dance like anyone else, learn at the same pace, or have the same goals. Work hard, try the scary things, make mistakes, cheer for your friends, and don’t spend so much time worrying about being the “best” that you forget to enjoy being a dancer. The scores, awards, and perfect performances won’t be what you remember most; it’ll be the people, the experiences, and the memories you made along the way.

From some of our tiniest dancers taking their first steps into the studio to seasoned dancers pushing themselves to the next level, Miss Sami gets to be part of so many different dance journeys at DAXIV, and she loves every one of them!

So whether you’re just beginning your DAXIV story or you’ve already spent years growing up inside these walls, work hard, be brave, cheer loudly for the people beside you, and don’t forget to enjoy it. These are the memories you’re going to keep! ✨🩵

Up next, meet Miss Paige! Get to know a little more about her, what she loves about teaching, and a few fun facts you may not know! 👇✨

What I Teach: Jazz, Competition Team
Favorite dance style: contemporary, but jazz is a really close second
Favorite part of teaching: connecting with the kids and watching them grow as dancers and people
When I’m not at the studio: I’m usually running my coffee trailer that I started this spring
Favorite food: sweet potatoes
Favorite drink: coffee!!
Dream vacation: Italy
Advice for my dancers: enjoy every season, good and not so good; it goes so fast!!

Whether she’s bringing the energy in Jazz or pushing our Competition Team dancers to discover what they’re capable of, Miss Paige wants her students to work hard, keep growing, and remember to actually enjoy where they are right now. Because before you know it, another class, competition, and entire season has flown by!

So soak it all in… the good days, the hard days, the backstage laughs, the breakthroughs, and everything in between. It goes faster than you think, and someday, you’ll wish you could do it all one more time. 🩵✨

My Favorite Dance Style: Tap and Jazz
Favorite Part about Teaching: Watching the dancers grow.
What I do when I am not at the studio: I have a full-time job as a LEAD CYPA @ the Letterkenny Army Depot CDC, and hanging out with my kids and grandson.
Favorite Food: This changes regularly, but I love steak and shrimp
Favorite Drink: Diet Pepsi
Dream Vacation: I took it last year in Scotland, but I want to go back.
Favorite Song: Never Change Your Mind by We Are Messengers
Fun Fact About me (Non Dance Related): I am a Huge anime fan
Fun fact (dance-related): I was in a dance competition when I was 6 months pregnant with my youngest.
Advice for my dancers: Never stop trying – Never stop learning – dance is ever-evolving. Learn from as many teachers as you can and absorb as much knowledge as you can in all aspects of life.

Never stop trying. Never stop learning. Take something from every teacher, every class, and every experience you’re given because there’s always room to discover something new. Miss Sam can’t wait to see where all that learning takes you! 🩵✨

Where I Work: The Front Desk
Favorite Dance Style: I have always loved Tap!
Favorite Part about Working at DAXIV: I love getting to know all the dancers and their families!
When I’m not at the Studio: I like to read, play video games, and go on adventures with my family!
Favorite Food: Soup…just soup.
Favorite Drink: Ice Water, but Diet Coke and Black Coffee take a close second.
Dream Vacation: Island hopping via a sailboat; I love the sea!

Fun Fact About Me (non-dance related): My first word as a baby was “Purple”.
Fun Fact About Me (dance-related): Being the desk lady runs in my family. When I was growing up, my Mom was the desk lady at the studio where my sister danced!
Advice for My Dancers: Be patient! Everyone learns differently; just because you don’t get something right away doesn’t mean you can’t. Believe in yourself!

Not every important part of DAXIV happens inside the classroom! Whether she’s answering a question, helping a family at the front desk, or simply being a familiar face when you walk through the door, Miss Misty is part of what makes our studio feel like home. 🩵
