A little about the artist behind the machine…

Hi, I’m Rachel.

I’m a small town tattoo artist who fell in love with tattooing completely by accident. What started as something I wanted to try just for fun quickly grew into a passion, then a career, and eventually became one of the biggest parts of who I am.

I’ve always believed tattooing is so much more than putting ink in skin, it’s creating something meaningful that becomes a part of someone’s story. I have a special love for florals, botanicals, and nature inspired tattoos because they remind me that even the simplest things can hold the most beauty. Whether it’s your first tattoo or your fiftieth, my goal is to create a piece that feels like you.

When I’m not behind the machine, you’ll usually find me at Hemlock Valley Farm. My days are spent tending my garden, caring for my flowers, loving on my five dogs, and keeping up with my ever-growing flock of chickens which has officially become a full blown obsession. There’s something incredibly peaceful about watching things grow, and that slower, simpler way of life inspires so much of the art I create.

When you sit in my chair, I want you to feel comfortable, welcomed, and heard. Every tattoo is a collaboration, and I’m incredibly grateful that people trust me with moments they’ll carry for the rest of their lives.

I believe the best tattoos are a lot like wildflowers they don’t have to be loud to be beautiful. They simply tell their own story.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to make a quick post to let everyone know that I am officially back in the shop and tattooing again. ❤️

First, I want to thank everyone for their patience, support, and understanding while I was recovering from surgery. It has meant more to me than you know.

As excited as I am to be back, I am still playing catch up from the time I was out, and I’m not yet back to 100%. Because of that, I won’t be in the shop every single day, and some things may take a little longer than usual while I continue healing and rebuilding my strength.

I also wanted to touch on the design process. When you send me a reference image, it isn’t simply a matter of copy and paste. Every tattoo needs to be adjusted, redrawn, resized, and prepared to work as a tattoo. Custom pieces require even more time, as they are drawn from scratch and often go through multiple revisions before they’re ready.

I promise I’m working as quickly as I can while still giving every client and every design the attention it deserves. Quality artwork takes time, and I never want to rush something that will be on your skin forever.

Thank you all for your continued patience, support, and trust. I’m excited to be creating again and can’t wait to work with all of you!
