Beginning in 1987 as Special T’s Woodcrafts and then Five Mountain Creations, Karen’s artwork is sold in specialty folk art and craft stores throughout the United States, Iceland, Japan, and Italy, including the Museum of American Folk Art on Lincoln Square, in Manhattan, NY. e United States’ largest show for hand-made American folk art, and has been featured regularly in the Market Square gallery magazine. Her artwork has been purchased and enjoyed by countless many around the world, including such notable persons as Barbra Streisand, Caroline Kennedy, and Senator Bob Dole, most notably gracing the Oval Office of the White House during the term of President George Herbert Walker Bush. The Nature’s Kanvas studio is based in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania.
