Urgent casting! (Unpaid)
Hello fabulous performers of Portland!
I am down a cast member for Fiona in the Middle and need to recast immediately. HERE’S WHERE YOU COME IN AND SAVE THE DAY!
The character is Marshall, Fiona’s soon-to-be ex-husband. Male. Age is flexible - could be 35-50ish? He still loves her, but has begun another relationship and is torn. He doesn’t know Fiona is not well until her sister, Frankie, breaks the news to him. Marshall has a song with all cast, 2 duets with Fiona, and his own solo number. He has 3 scenes.
This is a staged reading and NOT a fully staged production. We are rehearsing Tuesday nights, 6:30-8:30. Some over zoom, some in person at a cast member’s home in Newberg. We are VERY flexible and can work with your schedule. We are a fun group!
Dress/tech will be at the performance venue, Sherwood Center for the Arts, on October 4. Performance is October 5.
This is an unpaid gig. Sorry. However, this is an opportunity to put your stamp on a new work as well as be a part of the original cast recording which we plan to do some time after the performance (likely in November).
