Like obstacles, stickhandling aids, etc., drills can become a crutch. Players often default into the same habits (positive or negative) in SAGs. Most games and coaches focus on offensive habits far more than they do on defensive ones. Without emphasis on both, you just push players deeper into habits you might need to unravel down the road.
