Chrîs Swasta: Hi all! I have some pottery that I will be selling soon (keep eyes out for a post later today). 100% of proceeds will go to the Hurricane Helene recovery efforts in lieu of Rolling Hills Pottery reopening. People are needing help. I hope y’all realize the catastrophic damage Helene has done and will continue to cause.

In my lifetime, two hurricanes stand out as the standard by which others are measured: Andrew and Katrina. It’s been a long time since Andrew hit; as such he’s a little out of sight, out of mind. But we all remember Katrina. Here is a comparison between Katrina and Helene.

Kick wheel: very heavy, you’ll need 2-3 people to move even with dolly, round kicker. $200

Laguna Pacifica (Electric): $250 for wheel, $300 for work station attachments.
