THROWBACK!!! Would you believe that this is not pour paint? I taught myself to blend different colors when I first started painting and this one was my first sets. They sold immediately! I was shock because I thought they were okay. But I guess that’s why Art is in the eye of the beholder! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

The feature piece of the month!
Artist: Xander Nesbitt
Xander is a digital artist out of Virginia. At the age of 3, he discovered his love for art. Xander was able to view an image once and draw it perfectly. His family instantly knew he would be an amazing artist. He has commissioned many pieces for people all over the world. One of his biggest achievements was illustrating a children’s book title, “Abraham’s Great Love.” Xander is now attending college at the University of Norfolk Virginia where is studying Computer Science.
His work will be featured here at Wonder Art Gallery for the month of September. Feel free to stop by and check out the piece, “Humanity.” This piece will also be listed on the site tomorrow at 9 am.
We are excited to have such an amazing artist. We are looking forward to having more work in the future from Xander.

Hi, my name is Brayonna, wife, mom of four boys and a lover of abstract art. My love for art started at a very young age. I taught myself to draw after seeing graffiti on trains. I would think about how exciting it would be if I could express myself in that way. I could feel their freedom, the hearts, the love for what they created by looking at a train pass by. I wanted to feel that, so I began to draw graffiti, then random pictures, and now abstract art. Although graffiti art is what drew me in, I still felt restricted. I wanted to have more freedom. I didn't want to worry about lines and my art being perfect. I wanted to express my feelings through my art. Years and years later, Wonder was born.
I would be lying if I said, "Well, Wonder was born on January 25th, 2019." Truth is I don't know when I began to paint. I literally picked up a paintbrush, well paint knife and the rest is history. I came up with the name "Wonder" because I would always wonder where my art would take me. I never knew how it would become a reality. I just knew I wanted to paint and I wanted others to know me through my art.
Now, we are here. My wondering became my reality.
So, I introduce to you, "WONDER." My outward expression of freedom! My way to connect with you!

2nd Friday Art Night is next Friday, September 13 from 5pm - 8pm! All of the events take place in downtown Little Rock. Plus for September we have brought back our popular Trolley Tastings and Pop Up Artist events. To attend 2nd Friday Art Night, here's what to do:
Step 1: Pick ANY location to start (We'll be posting more throughout the upcoming week about what different events are happening and where.) Visit as many locations as you would like!
Step 2: All of the events run from 5pm - 8pm.
Step 3: Walk, drive, or ride the free Trolley to get to different art night venues. The Trolley runs from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Plus get a free sample from Stone's Throw Brewing while you are on the Trolley!
Step 4: Have fun and enjoy great art!
