Exciting News from Sherman Cultural District! 🎨
📢 Fall 2025 Call for Artists
Thanks to a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts, SCD is launching a funded public art opportunity for a sculpture series celebrating native and migratory birds of North Texas. Selected 3-D works will be displayed throughout the Cultural District as part of a permanent public exhibition honoring the beauty and biodiversity of our region.

I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I am now on the board of Sherman Cultural District and I’m thrilled about their upcoming art opportunity!
A little bit about SCD:
The mission of the Sherman Cultural District is to advocate for the arts and artists, improve the built environment, promote arts-based tourism and economic growth, and create opportunity for inclusive cultural and civic engagement with art in all forms.
What I love about SCD is their mission to promote the arts. Just like the ARTrageous Art Hub , we’re dedicated to promoting the arts, encouraging collaboration, and driving economic growth so it was meant for me to be on this board!
