Directed by Jane Farnol.

Meet the talented actors bringing these historical characters to life!

Morgana Kate Watson (Mary Todd Lincoln) is over the moon that this play has made it to the stage! Locally, you may have seen her onstage at Brookfield (Millie Martindale, Perfect Arrangement; Cuca, Night of the Assassins, Ensemble, Damn Yankees; or Lacey, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Theatreworks (Maria/Flamenco Dancer, Man of La Mancha), The Warner (Re**er Zombie, Re**er Madness; or Immigrant, Ragtime) or here at Sherman (Sylvia, Stepping Out; or The Widow, Taming of the Shrew). She is a regular singer at The Stonewall Inn and Greenroom42 down in NYC and has performed in the Spark Arts Festival, the Queens Short Play Festival, the Lower East Side Festival of the Arts, and for Kulturkanonen. As a writer, she is a regular contributor at Naked Angels NYC - who also produced a staged reading of her full length play "Are You My Sister?" in April at The New School. Her one acts have appeared on/at The Upper West Side, The Sharon Playhouse, the Rogue Theatre Festival, and Local Little Dramas in Brewster. She also runs the Cold Lemonade program here at the Playhouse. Big shout out to Kathy D - you know why :) Much love to Keegan, the family, and Willow. Follow her or morganakatewatson.com. For JoAnn.

Loretta Fedrick (Elizabeth Keckley) is no stranger to the local community theaters. She has directed at CYT in Waterbury, CT alongside her husband Dan Fedrick on โ€œBringing Back Broadway: The Cabaretโ€. Loretta has performed in FENCES (Rose), Westport Community Theater; THE REVOLUTIONISTS (Marianne Angelle), Phoenix Stage Company; GODSPELL (Jesus/Pit Ensemble); DREAM GIRLS (Joan/Ensemble); HAIRSPRAY (Lauren/ Ensemble); and SISTER ACT (Nun/ Ensemble) at the Thomaston Opera House. She also appeared on stage in DOUBT (Mrs. Mueller): A Parable at the Goshen Players Inc; DOG FIGHT (Librarian, Ruth Two Bears, and Chippy); and PROPERTY (Mahalia), International Playwrights Festival at the Warner Theater; SWEAT (Cynthia); DOT (Dotty); Causation (Head Nurse); BARE (Sister Chantelle) A Pop Opera (Chantelle); and Rosa Parks CROSSED SWORDS (Virtual Play), all with the Brookfield Theater of the Arts.

Matt Pagliaro (Robert Todd Lincoln) โ€“ Matt is thrilled to be reprising his role as Robert Lincoln for the third time, and for the first time in a staged performance! He is typically found backstage, not on it, and has designed and run lights for over 75 plays, musicals, and other productions. He has also directed several one act plays and will be directing the musical Baby at the Wilton Playshop in Spring 2027. Favorite past roles include The Man and other characters in RENT, Hugh in Causation (also written by Beth Young and directed by Jane Farnol!), and lighting Into the Woods at the Wilton Playshop and the world premiere of Sybil's Ride at the Ridgefield Theater Barn. Thank you to Beth, Jane, and especially his co-stars Morgana and Loretta. I'm so glad we've kept this group together for the past few years as we finally get this show on a real stage! And, as always, a special thanks to Claire for all her love and support.
