Make plans to bring your pooch out to Soggy Doggy on August 16! It is so much fun to see all the dogs loving the cool water at the end of a Dog Days of Summer

🐾💦 Soggy Doggy Pool Pawty is back at The Splash! 💦🐾

Our annual doggie pool party is making a splash—and we’re excited to welcome your furry best friend!

📅 When & Who:

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Reserved for small, medium, elderly, or disabled dogs who prefer a quieter swim.

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Open to all dogs ready to cool off and play!

📝 Important Info:

Registration is ONLY available through RecDesk or the Parks & Recreation Office — no day-of walk-ins allowed.

Dogs must be at least 6 months old, have current rabies vaccination, and be sociable.

One adult (16+) per dog required; humans in the water must wear appropriate swimwear and stay waist-deep. No kids under 16 permitted in the water.

Please no toys that sink, no food or treats allowed; collars required (no choke/pinch collars). Doggy life jackets permitted.

Owners must keep dogs leashed entering/exiting and clean up after them—bags provided!

We are SO sad. Thank you to everyone who visited us this summer! We will see you back May 2025!

From Our Friends, the Sherman Shadowcats:
The Splash Family Aquatic Center having to close early this summer. We would like to invite anyone with Splash season tickets, or unused punch cards, to our games this week. (Thursday and Friday , Saturday )
The Shadowcats are making a playoff run and we want you to be a part of it. We will honor your Splash tickets as if they were our own.

ALSO, Our Splash Pad at Hawn Park (900 S Dewey St.) is open daily from 9AM-8PM.

Our favorite event of the season is back on August 17 from 10AM-2PM!

Dogs must be at least 6 months old and have an up-to-date rabies vaccination. Please bring proof of vaccination with you. (A rabies tag is NOT proof of vaccination.)

The Splash is closing today, July 31 due to a water pressure issue. Once the issue is resolved, we will open back up. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Due to inclement weather, The Splash is CLOSED for the remainder of the day. (7/23/24)

We know it is hot, but our staff will be working at Pecan Grove West today for the Annual Lights on the Lake event. Come out to see us! Gates open at 4PM.

**** June 11, 2024 *****

The Splash will be closed on June 11 during general swim.

The main re-circulation pump is being replaced. Repairs should only take a couple of hours, and then our pool needs to have chemicals flow through it for 1-2 hours before people are allowed back in.

Currently the plan is to continue with evening swim lessons, but that is dependent upon how quickly the pump can be replaced.

We hope to see everyone back in the pool on Wednesday June 12.
