How can I go back to the way my profile was before this Pictures of me then and now????

Anyone know how I can get back to my original page??? I got a note when I logged on this morning (about 9am) that said something about my PastBook or whatever that is, so in my not yet awake state, I clicked on it to open it....well, ever since I did that, now I cannot see or open any notifications (that bell icon at the top right of the screen) OR see which friends are on line so I an click on their photo or name to chat with them (that icon just to the left of the Notifications icon).
Do any of you know what I can do to get back to the way it was???
