ONCE UPON A TIME…

Once Upon A Time tells the tale of a young girl, determined to leave childhood behind, who finds herself magically trapped in a twisted potpourri of fairy tales. To escape the warped storybook world, she is forced to use the power of her imagination and embrace the adventure. Along the way she must rescue a royal family, save her family’s farm, outwit a bumbling sheriff, and slay a Giant…or stay trapped in the fantasy world forever. It’s a laugh-out-loud, magically comedic romp for the entire family.
Once Upon A Time is directed by Tres Dean. It is written and adapted by Noemi Villela Dean and Tres Dean, based on the works of Hans Christian Anderson and Henry Cole. The comedy features a scenic design by Bob Gerdes & Tres Dean, costume design by Meghan Ims, lighting design by Tres Dean, sound design by Noemi Villela Dean, and choreography is by Mia Chevelle.
The production will take place April 29th at 7 p.m., April 30th at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and May 1st at 2 p.m. in Burrill Hall on the campus of Louis Armstrong Middle School. For information, please call 818-528-1608. Tickets are on sale online and in the student store.
