🌟GRADUATING SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟 Eleanor!
At ten years old, I followed my sister (shoutout Adeline!) into LABA. It’s been eight years since then, and I can’t believe I’ve made it this far. It’s truly amazing to look back on my journey here and think about just how many times I’ve met with my wonderful teachers and through countless tendus, pirouettes, and contemporary combos, built my confidence as a mover and an artist. I can’t say how lucky I feel to have been given the support and opportunities necessary to explore my ever-growing love of ballet and dance. Thank you to Ms Jackie and Ms Andrea for welcoming me into the studio. Thank you Ms Astrid for believing in me and showing me that ballet does not have to be a fight, but a gentle cultivation. Thank you to Ms Gina for the love and energy you gave me on late nights that helped me get through difficulties. Thank you to Ms Nicolette for the thoughtful guidance and love that kept me going. Thank you to Ms Ami, Ms Polly, and Ms Melissa for the dedication and joy you bring. Thank you to Ms Tracey for expert Pilates and advice. Lastly, thank you to my family. Every hour spent waiting and driving to competitions, every dollar given to my dance career means so much to me. I wouldn’t be where I am without all the people who have taught and supported me along the way.
I’m super excited to continue dancing in the Bay Area when I start college at UC Berkeley this fall. LABA will always be my second home, so you’ll be sure to see more of me!
We love you Eleanor! 💘
