The Tango Room is home to El Encuentro, the famous longest-running Saturday night milonga, established in 1999. The Tango Room specializes in offering authentic Argentine tango classes. What differentiates us from other tango teachers? Our head, Angel Echeverria, born in Buenos Aires, grew up dancing tango. First in the patio of his home with his family, then as a teenager as the local milongas. H

e learned tango from the older generation of tango dancers. His distinctvie style carries all the hallmarks of the authentic tanguero. The Tango Room is also home to El Encuentro, the longest running Saturday night milonga in Los Angeles. Everyone says of El Encuentro "it always feels like Buenos Aires is just outside the door".
