The mom of out sweetheart Miss Maci Martin on how her year as a Rodeo queen has been.

What an honor it has been for Maci to be crowned rodeo queen sweetheart. To be a part of such a wonderful group of ladies has been a fantastic learning experience for our daughter. Maci was so proud to represent the Grant County rodeo at the Halter show. She even got to award her little sister at that event, which was such a special experience. She then got to be a part of the Timberfest parade and the Sheridan Christmas parade. Those were so fun for her. The older queens were always so helpful with Maci, watching over her safety in the parades, helping with outfits and answering my many questions and we will be forever grateful for such an amazing village we were blessed with. Shortly after the Christmas parade, Macis beloved horse Kat was diagnosed with EPM and became very ill. That cut Macis ability to participate in anything else rodeo related for a while. The support, prayers, and advice we got from the queens group was amazing. Kat pulled through and we look forward to being apart of the Grant County Rodeo for years to come!

A little about Our Senior Queen Ms. Dawnya Kling and how she has represented us this year.

I am the owner of Changin’ Seasons apparel & gifts and co founder on of Timberline screen printing where I have also displayed my title and told others in the community about how fun and rewarding competing and holding the title of senior queen has been. I have enjoyed my journey as a Grant County Rodeo Queen and look forward to passing down my rein to a new lady who can enjoy the fun.
This past year i have ridden in timberrfest parade and christmas on the square parade. I have also traveled to Australia this year and while there I explained to them how our rodeo queen contest and rodeo association around Grant County Arkansas works versus Australian rodeo and horsemanship.

Our Miss Haleigh Lawson on how her year has gone as she has represented us.

As Miss Grant County Rodeo I have had so many opportunities to serve my community and build connections! My first event representing my title was the Grant County Halter Show where I was able to hand out awards and even see a few familiar faces! As Miss Grant County Rodeo I also had the opportunity to compete at the Arkansas State Fair Rodeo Queens Competition where I placed First Runner Up. Aside from competing I had the privilege to spend time in my community advocating for the sport of Rodeo and building connections at Timberfest, Christmas on the Square, SES Reading Round up, and the Sheridan FFA Alumni Rodeo. I have loved this opportunity, and I am so excited for the next girl who gets the opportunity to reign as Miss Grant County Rodeo!🩷
