Sherburne, NY Ice Rink Free Community Ice Skating: The Wern Skate Rink is located at The Sherburne Historic Park near the bus garage. When the Shack is open skates are free to borrow.

We had a great skating season with the steady cold temps! Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy the ice! Check here for updates if you want to help out when it’s time to put the rink away or build it again next fall!

The rink is open! Use it while the ice is solid! It’s a little wavy, but this could be the end of the season.

Please avoid skating near the edges, and watch out for holes! Be careful to not puncture the plastic liner! Skate at your own risk.

The ice is closed this week. I anticipate that we will be able to skate again on Wednesday, 2/25.

Please do not disturb the ice during this time so we can enjoy a smooth surface when the colder temperatures return.
