A great way to add life in your melodies; use the pitch bends in different places.

The secret is to use a few adjoining notes(even if they are not in your key), They add a great sense of emotion in your melody. The pitch bends in bass shines a lot and gives an amazing movement.

What makes a soundtrack amazing?
People will listen, buy and listen back to your soundtrack to listen to those 5 amazing seconds.
There are certain points where listeners just stop for a moment, they come back to listen to those 5 seconds coz they haven't appreciated it enough, as long as they have that feel of appreciating those 5 seconds, they will come back again and again... The perfect listening position -
Make sure that you have an exact distance from the left and right speakers. Your speakers shouldn't be too wide or narrow. It may sound 'not so important' but it highly affects the stereo field and can change the perception of how you hear the sound.
The easiest way to achieve it is by forming an equilateral triangle in which both speakers and your ears are on a vertex.

For those who wanna put their song out in CDs -
There are 2 types of CDs you can have
1 - Duplicated CDs
2 - Replicated CDs
Duplicated CDs are the ones that you and I make using burn software like Nero.
Replicated CDs are more complex, they are created by the individual injection molding of polycarbonate.
Difference? Replicated CDs don't have glitches. and are a little expensive.
When you are giving the order for CD creation to a manufacturer, ask them what kind of CDs you will get, ALWAYS GET THE REPLICANT.

I mean no disrespect to any music manager because not everyone is bad but...... Most of the managers and lawyers will tell you to sign a major record deal because that's the most useful deal for them, they get a 10-20% cut of the advance payment artist will get from the label. It's your job as an artist to read the agreement and see the pros and cons of it.
