Honoring America’s 250th Birthday Sousapalooza expanded to our stage thanks to partnership with the Levitt Family Foundation!

Empire Strikes Brass is a dynamic BrassFunkRock band from Asheville, NC, known for their powerful sound and creative fusion of musical influences. Founded in 2012, the band has evolved from a party band playing New Orleans-inspired funk tunes to a collective of talented musicians, singers, songwriters, and producers. Empire Strikes Brass has been a constant fixture at various festivals across the USA and has co-billed with major names in funk and soul, including Mavis Staples and Dr. John. They are also set to perform at the US Cellular Center in Asheville with Umphrey’s McGee and Billy Strings.

Friday - Levitt AMP Shenandoah Junction Music Series presented by Skinner Accident & Injury Lawyers continues with music from Empire Strikes Brass! You don't want to miss this high-energy BrassFunkRock ensemble from Asheville, North Carolina, known for their larger-than-life sound, tight horn arrangements, and powerful live performances! Saturday - Movie in the Park returns to the AMP with Disney's Zootopia 2! Come watch Officer Judy Hopps and Jack Wilde tackle a new mystery on our big screen under the stars! Admission is FREE thanks to generous sponsorship from Varsity Travel / Schrock Travel! Gates open at 7pm, the movie will begin at DUSK (Approx. 8:15pm). Sunday - Join us for the FIRST Sousapalooza in West Virginia! June 21 is National Make Music Day, so that's what you're going to do! Dust off your instruments and join this one-day opportunity to play on the AMP stage at 1:00pm! If you don't plan an instrument, don't worry! Come enjoy the music and tap your feet, clap your hands, and enjoy the Sousa Marches. This event is made possible with support from the Music Day Foundation and the Levitt Family Foundation. Pack a picnic or enjoy a treat from the AMP Snack Bar.

The AMP is an all lawn seating venue. Please bring chairs or blankets. Pets are welcome to all AMP events unless otherwise specified. No carry-in alcohol. No glass. Smoking/Vape is prohibited in all Jefferson County Parks.
