The 2026 Candy Drop takes place at Sam Michaels Park at 11:30am on Saturday, October 24 at the Jefferson County Fall Festival presented by Jefferson Rentals LLC!

Candy will be dropped by our friends at Viking Tree Service, Bent-Z-Tree, and Citizens Fire Company. 🚒🌳

Let's talk Fall Festival Music!
Our headliners, Low Water Bridge Band is an Americana/Country group from Berryville, Virginia, known for authentic Appalachian storytelling, rich harmonies, and a blend of Celtic, folk, country, and Americana influences.

Plus, The Nathan Bartgis Band returns to the AMP stage. Raised in Hedgesville, WV, Nathan Bartgis has built a reputation for his soulful voice and captivating stage presence. The band’s sound mixes traditional country with a modern twist, often incorporating Southern rock influences.

And, DJ Ray will kick things off and keep the music rolling throughout the early hours of the festival. Don't forget to dress for halloween because at 12:30pm the stage will feature YOU during our costume contest.

The Jefferson County Fall Festival happens on October 24! Remember to wear your costume because at approx 12:30pm everyone will be invited to parade across the AMP stage for a chance to be named a costume winner! We will be awarding 10 lucky costumes with trophies this year! All ages welcome!

Remember to register for the Candy Drop, which will happen at 11:30 am at the Fall Fest! We will be dropping over 10,000 pieces of candy! Cost is just $5 for a kids activity band which includes the candy drop, moon bouncing, petting zoo and crafts! Register now at jeffersoncountywv.MyRec.com.

The AMP is proud to be the location for the 2026 Highland Games! It’s been fun to watch the Harpers Ferry Celtic Society make this map a reality at our venue. We look forward to the games, the food, the music & performances, the cows, and everything else they have planned. If you don’t have tickets- no worries! They will be selling them at the gate! The Candy Drop happens on October 24 at the Jefferson County Fall Festival, presented by Jefferson Rentals LLC!

Register your kids today! With the help of our friends at Citizens Fire Company, Viking Tree Service, and Bent Z Tree Service, we will be dropping more than 10,000 pieces of candy from above the AMP field!

Be sure to wear your Halloween contest and parade across the stage after the drop! Trophies will be awarded for the top 10 costumes!

Your registration includes a kids activity band for the day- which means moon bouncing, animal encounters are the Pony-To-Go petting zoo, and fall crafts!

Plus, enjoy shopping at our more than 30 craft vendors, get delicious treats at our food trucks and enjoy music on the AMP stage from Low Water Bridge Band, Nathan Bartgis Band, and DJ Ray!

October 24 is shaping up to be a full day of Fall Festival Fun at The AMP at Sam Michaels Park! We will finish the day with an ADMISSION FREE showing of Disney's HOCUS POCUS thanks to generous sponsorship from Suzy Joran, Realtor, Samson Properties! The movie will begin at dusk (approx. 6:30pm. The AMP is an all lawn seating venue, so be sure to bring your chairs and blankets!

Join us before the movie for the Jefferson County Fall Festival, presented by Jefferson Rentals LLC! Gates open at 11am and include music on the AMP stage featuring Low Water Bridge Band, The Nathan Bartgis Band, and music from DJ Ray! Grab a cool drink at the B**r Tent (Photo ID required for purchases), enjoy snacks from the snack bar or a meal from one of our food vendors - Taste of Greece, Almost Heaven Ice Cream, or Pin-C Lemonade. Get a jump on Christmas or find a special treat for yourself at our one or more of our many craft vendors!

Don't forget to grab a kids' activity wristband for just $5. At 11:30am we will be dropping over 10,000 pieces of candy for kids to collect. The wristband will also include moon bouncing, crafts and a petting zoo from Pony to Go! Wristbands are available at: jeffersoncountywv.myrec.com
