UPDATE: Tonight's Movies in the Park event has been moved to the Civic Center (in the main lobby area). Lilo & Stitch will start at about 8:45 p.m.

Join us tomorrow night for the final 2025 Movies in the Park event at Kneeland Park! This week's movie is Lilo & Stitch (the 2002 version). The movie will start between approximately 9:00 and 9:15 p.m.

Concessions will be available for purchase from the 2026 Booster Club.

Tonight is our last evening of Music in the Park. We have the Great Bend Chorale from the Great Bend Center for Music tonight. It's going to be a fun community sing-a-long performance so bring your singing voice with you! The music starts at 7pm!

We are happy that the air quality is better today than yesterday!

Tonight we have Hilary Scott Gennaro playing for us! Music starts at 7pm at Kneeland Park. Kern's Kitchen & Sweet Lila's Snow cones will be selling food, drinks and dessert.

Thank you to Shelton Athletic Club for allowing us to use their upper parking lot. Please do not park in the lower parking lot as the lower lot is for their members.

Tonight we have Hurts Like Hell playing for us! Music starts at 7:00pm. Kern's Kitchen and Sweet Lila's Snow Cones will be on site selling great food, beverages and desserts! It isn't a hot day so we want to remind everyone to bring a jacket, sweatshirt or blanket to keep warm tonight.

We want to give a special thank you to the Shelton Athletic Club for allowing us to use their upper parking lot across from Kneeland Park. Please do not park in the lower parking lot up against the building. The lower parking lot is for Shelton Athletic Club parking only!

Tonight we have Mark Lewis Quartet playing for us! Music starts at 7:00pm. Kern's Kitchen and Sweet Lila's Snow Cones will be on site selling great food, beverages and desserts! Tonight is our opening evening! We have The Varmints starting at 7pm! Don't forget to bring your sweatshirts, jackets and blankets as it will be a little chilly. We have Kern's Kitchen & Sweet Lila's Snow Cones vending. Love Inc and Habitat for Humanity will also have tables set up sharing what they do for the community. We also want to give a special shout out to the Shelton Athletic Club for allowing us to use their upper parking lot. Please do not park in the lower parking lot as this is for gym members only.We hope to see you tonight!

Shelton Parks and Recreation proudly presents this year's Movies in the Park series! On Friday nights from July 11 through August 15, enjoy a free, family-friendly movie at Kneeland Park.

Movies will start between 9 and 9:15 p.m. There is no price for admission.

July 18 - Kung Fu Panda
July 25 - Encanto
August 1 - Pitch Perfect (Teen Night)
August 8 - Raya and the Last Dragon
August 15 - Lilo & Stitch (2002)
