Long time Yankee Broadcaster John Sterling has passed away! A huge loss for the New York area. Lots of memories listening to the games down here at Studio Blue. For those that rather listen on the radio rather than sit in front of a TV... His home run calls were legendary, and we replayed them many times on the Pirate Radio 3000 show back in the day. He will be sadly missed by all that were lucky enough to hear his voice grace the Airwaves of WICC and then WFAN. The games haven't been the same since. My favorite call was "IT'S AN A BOMB FOR AROD!. RIP John, and "how do you like that!" What was your favorite Sterling call ?
