So much has been happening with our pool construction, today footings are being poured!

💦One last splash…

I can’t help but get a little sentimental as tomorrow is the last day of this pool… Forever. For the last 60+ years, it’s been the central hangout of the summer. Friends made, tricks learned and countless memories. My family’s story is much like many other families in this town where we watched our babies grow up at the pool… And then go to work there as lifeguards.

It has taken years of planning and dreaming to get to the point where we’re actually building our new pool just east of here, and I couldn’t be more excited! But I can’t let this one slip away without a huge thank you to those who have kept this one functioning and the many people who have made it such a special place!

Whether it’s a float in the shallow end, a trip down the slides or a cannon ball off the high dive…go make one last splash! Tomorrow is the end of an era. 💦

It’s looking like a pool more and more each day! An added bonus to digging during summer is the hours of entertainment for the kids (and adults)!

Construction fencing will go up next Monday, July 6th. Completion date with all inspections will be May 7, 2027 to be ready to spend all summer in the new pool!

Here's our latest update!
✅We declared ground breaking April
✅The new pool features, stone work, color schemes, finishes, etc. have all been selected.
🚧Estimated mobilizing and setting up construction fence by Hackel Construction is scheduled for June 29th, 2026
🔲 May 7, 2027 construction COMPLETE!
