MOLLY AND THE DANGER BAND and MARLEE PAYNE - FRI SEPT 4TH

MOLLY OTIS, singer, songwriter, fiddle, mandolin, guitar player, fronted the power country group known as Molly & the Heymakers. The band took the best from h***y tonk, bluegrass, country-rock and other styles and blended them seamlessly into a foot stomping good time. The Danger Band started in 2006 when Molly built a stage on a three foot wide ledge, hovering eight feet above a glass top bar at the Pavilion in downtown Hayward WI. They have come a long way since performing on that three foot ledge, entertaining fans at international events like the Lumberjack World Championships, The American Birkebeiner and opened for Asleep At The Wheel, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Tanya Tucker. Molly has helped us build our venue and we couldn't be happier that she's returning to our stage this Friday.

MARLEE PAINE is a 13-year-old singer-songwriter and musician from the small Northern Wisconsin town of Stone Lake. With a passion for music well beyond her years, Marlee blends heartfelt lyrics with a natural, expressive voice that connects with audiences of all ages. Since first taking the stage at just 10 years old at the Big Top Chautauqua, she has opened for Ricky Skaggs, and was selected as a Young Star to Watch.

These two always draw a crowd. Get there early to get a good spot!

JOE STAMM BAND and THE DRIFTLESS REVELERS - THIS FRI, AUG 28

JOE STAMM BAND casts a wide net of appeal that captures most anyone with any sense of taste who falls within earshot. Expect a unique mix of rootsy rock and rugged country from all of the band’s work — a sound they’ve coined Black Dirt Country Rock. This genre-bending sound flexes the best parts of Midwest and Appalachian music. With uncommonly great songwriting, and a serious rock n’ roll attitude. We're excited that their national fall tour is swinging by the Shed!

THE DRIFTLESS REVELERS groove merrily through early roots blues and jazz music, to hillbilly and string band howlers, all the way into the not-quite folk but not-quite psychedelic realms of their own creation. A Driftless Revelers show will lure you in with their joy, and keep you dancing with their search for the cosmic groove in the confines of stringed instruments.
