Join us for our 40th annual Tribute to the Big Bands Concert, an evening of music to raise funds to support arts education at the Shell Lake Arts Center! This Shell Lake tradition brings out the greatest jazz musicians in the Midwest for a one night only performance of big band classics you know and love.

Hello Arts Center family!

We're a half month into registration and things are looking great for summer 2022! Thank you to all who have been spreading the word about our programming.

We have a few early bird specials going on right now. Here are some SLAC updates.

- We have lowered the cost of commuter rates for the 2022 season. Camp cost is now $350 for day camp. This is to give students in our area easy access to great education.

-Buddy Discount! Campers that refer new students get $50 off for both registrations. This is a great way to encourage a summer trip with a best friend.

-Digital Imaging Camp will be a great way to highlight our magic setting. We're thrilled to bring a new area of art to photographers.

-The Erika Quam Theater is back in action. Check out our main page for upcoming events!

On Tuesday, we kick off our fundraiser to repair the dorm roofs. On giving Tuesday, Facebook is matching donations to nonprofits, so your dollar will go twice as far. We need $65,000, so please consider donating!

Through the support of our community, we aim to raise $65,000 for essential repairs in our residence halls. More details below

The campaign launches on and ends January 1st, 2022.

Donate through Facebook or GoFundMe anytime in the next month. Facebook is matching donations to nonprofits Tuesday only.

"With summer camp season fast approaching, the Shell Lake Arts Center is raising funds for new roofs. The dated state of our residence halls creates a constant battle when it rains, often requiring staff time to dry and repair the space. Rebounding from major losses in the COVID-19 pandemic, our nonprofit aims to be at 100% capacity for summer 2022. For a successful season, we must replace our roofs.

Master Teachers--Magic setting. This is who Shell Lake Arts Center is. We’ll always have the master teachers, but the magic setting is a recurring challenge. Leaking roofs are not magical. Launching on Giving Tuesday and ending January 1st, 2022, our campaign asks for your help.

The Shell Lake Arts Center will continue focusing on art education, and we’ll be better at it with a new roof over our heads. Your donation to our 501 C 3 nonprofit is tax-deductible and will go right back into the Shell Lake community.
