Help Extension Foundation support Shelby County 4-H’ers! Grab a sandwich from Possum Lodge at the VFW today from 9-1.

Today is the day! Lunch for a great cause!

Make plans to stop by the Shelbyville VFW on Saturday, September 12, 9-1 p.m. or until sold out, for a pork tenderloin or rope sausage sandwich and support Shelby County 4-H.

Through their generous support, Shelby Extension Foundation helps offset annual 4-H program fees for all 426 members, provides camp and college scholarships, and contributes to special recognition events throughout the year.

Your support helps continue these opportunities for local youth. We hope to see you there! 🍀

It’s time to start practicing and sharpening your livestock judging skills! Join the Livestock Judging Team!

Shelby County 4-H Livestock Judging practices will begin September 14 at 7 p.m. at the Shelby County 4-H Center in Shelbyville!

Learn how to evaluate cattle, sheep, swine, and goats while building valuable skills in critical thinking, decision-making, and communication. Whether you're new to livestock judging or have experience in the ring, this is a great opportunity to gain confidence and learn more about the livestock industry.
