PopUps at the Pavilion Shelbyville Indiana PopUps at the Pavilion features local live musicians outdoors weeknights between 5 & 8 PM. Free Enhance the ambiance of the downtown through music.

PopUps at the Pavilion is a series of weeknight performances held in downtown Shelbyville Indiana throughout the summer and into the fall (weather permitting) at one of our two pavilions. Each PopUp will feature a local artist or group performing for 2 hours between 5 & 8 p.m. Funding for this series is made possible through a grant from the Blue River Community Foundation. Shelby County Players,

the host for these PopUps, invites the public to come downtown and dine in one of the downtown restaurants/bars or bring your own picnic baskets & blanket or lawn chairs. Shelby County Players primary goals for PopUps are:
Provide local musicians & performers with a street performance opportunity at our downtown pavilion. Bring more people downtown in the evenings during the week. Keep SCP visible and active in the community while their rehearsal facility is being transformed into a performance theatre.

Shelby County Players is focusing this year on their new facility, the Wortman Family Civic Theatre at 1416 Miller Avenue, Shelbyville Indiana. The theatre will be available for non theatrical events, including meetings, receptions and live arts events. TONIGHT’S FREE SHOW: Seagers and Aryn have been performing as the band Straight Up Chumps for 10 years. A full on rock 4 piece gets stripped down. Playing original songs highlighted by acoustic guitar, bass and vocals. They have played a wide range of venues from small winerys, Lucas Oil Stadium plaza and the Mousetrap. They will feature storyteller songs swirled with for your toast. Enjoy and be kind! improvisation and yes, there will be jam.
