Join us every Thursday at 1:00 PM for our Kids Summer Matinees. Admission is just $3 per movie, and we’ll have a $6 kids snack pack available with popcorn, a drink, and a treat.

Scary Movie is coming to the Shelby Roxy Theater this weekend with the kind of over-the-top comedy that pokes fun at every scary movie rule in the book.

Masked killers, sequels, reboots, remakes, and dramatic “final chapters” all get pulled into one ridiculous movie that definitely does not take itself too seriously.

This one is rated R, so it is not for the little kids — but for adults who remember the original Scary Movie movies, it may be a fun one to catch on the big screen.

On June 27, the Roxy Theater in Shelby is bringing a songwriter night right here to the Hi-Line — up close, personal, and full of the stories behind the songs.

A lost prince, a powerful sword, and another weekend to see the adventure at the Roxy.

Masters of the Universe follows Prince Adam, who was separated from his home world of Eternia when he was young and raised on Earth. When the powerful sword that connects him to his past comes back into his life, Adam is pulled back into a world he barely remembers — a world now under threat from Skeletor.

To protect Eternia, Adam has to face where he came from, stand with allies like Teela and Man-At-Arms, and become the hero he was always meant to be: He-Man.

It has the feel of a big adventure movie — fantasy, action, good vs. evil, and a little nostalgia for those who grew up hearing “By the power of Grayskull.” It’s a fun one to watch with the family, especially on the big screen with popcorn in hand.
