Such a fun morning full of friends 🥹💛 Thank you to everybody who came out to play with us today!

Our afternoon reservation book is looking VERY empty, so we’re going to go ahead and close up shop at 2 PM today.

Just your friendly little reminder: if you know you want to come play, reserve your playtime! Even ONE reservation on the books means we’ll be here waiting for you. 😂 But when the schedule is completely empty, we may sneak out a little early.

✨ TOMORROW:
9–12 is reserved for our Wednesday Drop-Off Play Club!
Regular open play will be 12–3 PM.

If you’ve been thinking about trying Drop-Off Play Club, Wednesdays are your chance — three hours of play, a snack, and some time for Mama to get something done. 💛

Let’s talk about Wednesday Play Club 🫶

Every Wednesday from 9am–12pm, we’re opening The Play Place to a SMALL group of kiddos for three hours of drop-off play.

If you’ve been wanting to introduce your little one to being dropped off somewhere, but preschool or a full-day program feels like a BIG first step, this is such a sweet way to start.

It’s only three hours. They’re in a place that already feels familiar. We keep it to just 5 kiddos, and the very sweetest, Mrs. Megan Hamrick Emory, will be here assisting me so there are plenty of hands, eyes and attention.

We’ll play, read, do Play-Doh, have a snack and just have a really fun little Wednesday morning together.

Our primary age range is 2–4, but with so many of our four-year-old friends heading off to Pre-K, we’re opening a few spots to kiddos as young as 1 when it feels like a good fit. ❤️

Wednesdays | 9am–12pm
$55 per child | Only 5 spots

A tiny first taste of independence, in a place they already know how to have fun. 🥹

We’re making FAKE SNOW CONES! Messy Play almost always hits capacity, so preregister if you want a spot. Don’t make me send the “we’re full” message. 🥲

☕️ MOM’S CRAFT CLUB — TUESDAY AT 10AM
Preregister for 10AM playtime, bring a craft (or come color with us) and have a coffee on me☕️

🧸 WEDNESDAY PLAY CLUB — 9AM–12PM
You drop them off. We play, snack, and keep them entertained for THREE whole hours. You go do literally whatever you want. ✨ Preregistration required! (Sign them up asap so we know you’re coming 😊)

We don’t have anyone on the schedule for afternoon playtime, so The Play Place will be closing at 2 PM today.

Just a friendly reminder that reserving your playtime is the best way to guarantee we’ll be here and ready for you! If the schedule is completely empty, we may take the opportunity to close up a little early. 🫶

A little first Mom’s Craft Club in the books. 🫶☕️🎨

Thank you to the moms who came out this morning! We had such a sweet little group, enjoyed some good drinks, worked on our crafts and got to actually sit and talk for a while — which was kind of the whole point. 😂

We’re doing it again next Tuesday at 10 AM! If you want to join us, just pre-register for playtime and bring along a craft you’ve been wanting to work on. We’ll always have our fancy coloring books here too, and if we get enough reservations ahead of time, we’ll provide a fun group craft!

Nothing serious or complicated — just moms hanging out, kids playing, something fun to do with our hands, and hopefully a few new friendships along the way. 🫶

Give us a birthday theme and we can tell you almost immediately how far we’re about to take it. 😂

Today’s Gold Party is Exhibit A. ✨

You bring us the birthday kid + the theme, and we handle the decorating, details and all the little things that somehow turn into 47 decisions when you’re doing it yourself.

Basically, you get to show up and enjoy the party. We get to obsess over the details. Everybody wins. 😂

Gold Parties are $600 + tax and includes 2 hours of private party time. 🥳

This morning was one of those mornings where I just kept thinking… how stinking lucky are we that we get to do this?

Ms. Rachel came to play with her friends, read us a story, sang Wheels on the Bus, Icky Sticky Bubblegum AND Bubble Bubble Pop, we ate rainbow Goldfish, and then took the whole party outside and basically turned the place into one giant bubble bath. 😂🫧

Ms. Rachel days are always fun. Messy Play is always fun. But putting the two together today was honestly kind of magical.

And Y’ALL SHOWED UP. Our little building was overflowing with kids, parents, laughter, bubbles and just pure chaos in the absolute best way. 😂 Thank you for coming out, embracing the crowd, leaning into the whimsy with us and letting your kids experience something a little different.

Getting to watch so many of your babies grow up here — and getting to keep creating these weird, wonderful little memories with them — is something I will never take for granted. Thank you for continuing to show up for us. Truly. ❤️

And if you missed Ms. Rachel this time, don’t panic! She visits us every month. 👀 We usually don’t announce her visits until about a week beforehand, so keep an eye on our socials because you never know when she’s going to pop back in.

Okay moms, I have an idea. 👀☕️

I want to make Tuesday mornings a little bit for us.

Come hang out with me, drink something good, talk to other moms, maybe make a new friend — all while the kids safely play somewhere that is NOT your house and therefore cannot destroy it. 😂

And because this is supposed to feel like a little treat, if you come hang out and participate in our Mom Club, you get a drink on me. 🫶

Now I just need y’all to help me decide what we’re doing:

📚 Book Club — we pick a book, read what we can, and nobody is checking homework.

🍳 Cookbook Club — pick a recipe to share with everyone. Make it if you want, or just bring the recipe because we are not adding unnecessary pressure to our lives.

🎨 Craft Club — bring whatever little project you’ve been meaning to work on and actually have a minute to touch it.

I don’t want this to feel like another thing we’re obligated to do. I want it to feel like, “Hey girl, what are you doing Tuesday morning? Come hang out with us. I’ll get you a coffee.”

Nothing serious. Nothing complicated. Just a little Tuesday morning mom time while our kids are happily occupied and somebody else’s space gets messy. 😂

Introducing Wednesday Drop-Off Play! 💛

Your 2–4 year old gets three hours at The Play Place to play, create, make little friends, have a snack and basically develop their own social life.

And you? Book the hair appointment. Go to the gym. Get some work done. Run errands. Or sit in your car in complete silence for 20 minutes before doing any of those things. 😂

They’re happy, safe and having their own fun — and you get a little room in your week to be a person, too.

And because real life does not need another monthly commitment:
