Our 2nd Annual Dance Recital, “Beyond the Spotlight,” was truly something special. 💙✨

This theme means so much to me because at Modern Motion Academy, our goal has never just been about creating amazing dancers. It’s about shaping successful, honest, and kind young adults who carry what they learn here far beyond the stage.

We strive to build more than technique—we want to create lasting friendships, strong leaders, and an environment where dancers encourage and uplift one another every step of the way. That is exactly what “Beyond the Spotlight” represents.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, decorated, helped round up dancers, and made sure everything ran smoothly. It truly takes a village to make a production like this happen, and it’s incredible to see how strong ours is. ❤️

This recital was such a success, and I couldn’t be more excited for Season 3! ⭐️

And next year… I’ll definitely assign someone to be in charge of backstage pictures because clearly I am not that person while running around like a chicken with my head cut off 😂📸

Today marks our graduating senior’s last day of dance, and our hearts are feeling all the emotions. 💙✨

Ally, it feels like just yesterday you walked through our studio doors, and now you’re heading off to create your own adventure. While we are going to miss you more than words can say, we are so excited to see where this next chapter of life takes you.

Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the hard work, and the impact you’ve had on your dance family over the years. You have grown into such an incredible young woman, and we know you are going to do amazing things.

Just remember, no matter where life takes you, your dance family will always be here for you. We are already looking forward to the surprise visits back at the studio! 💕

Get ready for an amazing summer full of dancing, fun, and new friendships at Modern Motion Academy! 💃🩰✨

Our summer session runs June 9th – July 30th, and spots are filling quickly! Below are the classes that still have openings available. If you’re interested in enrolling or have any questions, send us a message—we’d love to help!

Part 2: What a wonderful way to wrap up our competition season at Showstoppers! 💙✨

This weekend was truly one to remember. Our groups, solos, and trio took the stage and performed some of their best routines of the entire season. Seeing all of their hard work, growth, and confidence shine through was so rewarding!

The atmosphere at Showstoppers is always phenomenal. From the energy in the theater to the encouragement backstage, it is a competition we always look forward to attending.

And of course, we can’t talk about Showstoppers without mentioning Julian! 🙌 Thank you for always being backstage bringing the energy, giving advice, sharing words of encouragement, and hyping up our dancers before they take the stage. You truly help make the experience special for so many dancers.

Thank you, Showstoppers, for an amazing weekend and a fantastic end to our competition season. We had the best time and can’t wait to see you again next season! ⭐️💃

We are so proud of Miss Evie and all she accomplished at Adrenaline Dance Competition & Convention! ✨

Evie received a Platinum adjudication for her solo, was selected for the Adrenaline City Crew—a special group of dancers hand-picked by the convention faculty to perform in the closing number—and was awarded a Video Crew Scholarship to National Dance Honors! ⭐️

Beyond the awards, we are most proud of the hard work, dedication, and fearlessness you brought to this competition. Watching you continue to grow as both a dancer and a person is such a joy.

Congratulations, Evie! Your dance family is so proud of you, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! 💃💕

What a fun weekend at Starpower! ⭐️💙

This was an optional solo competition for our dancers, and we took 3 amazing soloists with us. While we always love watching them perform on stage, one of the best parts of the day was getting to spend more one-on-one time together.

Between competition sessions, meals, and downtime, we were able to enjoy each other’s company outside of the dance world. Those moments and memories are just as special as the ones made on stage.

Thank you girls for making this competition so much fun! We are so proud of you and loved every minute of spending the day together. Even if I got lost going to Chick-fil-A lol 😅😂💃✨

Part 2: What a weekend at Endless Dance Competition!

To say the schedule was crazy would be an understatement… we somehow ended up running almost 2 hours ahead every single day. 🫠😅 While it definitely kept us on our toes, our dancers, parents, and staff handled it like champs!

Even with the chaos, we made it through together and created some great memories along the way. From cheering each other on to making the most of our unexpected downtime, there was never a dull moment. ❤️

We are so proud of our dancers for staying positive, flexible, and ready to perform no matter what was thrown their way. Thank you to all of our amazing dance families for rolling with the changes and supporting one another all weekend long.

Endless may have kept us guessing, but we made it work and that made us stronger at the end of the day!

Easter Party at the studio! 🐣💖

We had such a fun time celebrating Easter with sweet treats & games! 🍬🐰 The highlight of the day was definitely our annual extreme egg hunt. Every class ended with a hunt, and let me tell you… things got pretty crazy this year! 😂

We made the mistake (or maybe the best decision 🤣) of letting the older girls hide the eggs, and they took their job VERY seriously. Parents, you know exactly what I’m talking about! 😂 The hiding spots had everyone searching high and low, and the determination from the dancers was absolutely hilarious to watch.

The egg hunt is always a huge hit every year, and this year was no exception. Between the games, treats, and competitive egg hunting, it was a full week of fun memories and lots of laughter. 🐣💕 thank you everyone that was involved in making this happen for our dancers! I know they had the best time👏🏻🤗
