Day 2 in Nashville started out with a trip to Belle Meade for a little retail therapy and lunch. I believe a few took
In the sights of the Plantation and some enjoyed wine tasting. (I heard the Sangria was delicious).

We ended the evening at The Grand Ole Opry! And wow, what a show! We had amazing seats and the acts were all very good! If you haven’t heard Josh Weathers sing Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” - lookup a few online live versions. It isn’t on an album
yet, but should be. Amazing!

Started Day 3 in Nashville with a tour of one of our favorite stops in town - RCA Studio B. We enjoyed hearing all about the studio from our very knowledgeable guide, Hal. We especially loved seeing the very first picture which was of our very own Don Gibson. We were especially proud to hear in the tour that Don Gibson’s “Oh Lonesome Me” was the studios first ever Number 1 hit. And “I Can’t Stop Loving You” was a top 10
Hit. We saw where Elvis sat and recorded many of his songs! We stood on the spots of numerous artists as they recorded. What a special place.

Ended our tours on Sunday with a trip to The Country Music Hall of Fame. Learned lots and saw lots of country music history along with modern favs. Always enjoyable.

Left Shelby at an early 6am this morning to travel to Nashville for the weekend. We drove a little past there today and stopped in Hurricane Mills, TN. We visited Loretta Lynn’s kitchen and then went to visit her Ranch and home. We have a great group of 20!
