What an honor it was to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award last night at the Tammy Wynette Legacy Musuem.
Our heartfelt thanks goes out to my nephew, Luke Shepherd, Michael Breedlove, Larry Cantrell and all of the volunteers who always welcome us warmly and make us feel so special.
Having an opportunity to share my life, my stories and my music is an honor. It is hard to fit over 80 years in a couple of hours...but sharing those memories with you helps keep them alive for me. What a life it has been so far...I thank God for an amazing journey.
If you haven't been to the museum, please make the trip. We all need to support the efforts of people who are working hard to keep true country music and family oriented venues alive. Without the support of people like you, they won't be able to exist. Please promote and support them any way you can.
