Meet the cast and crew of August: Osage County!

Meet our Wellness Coach, Tennille Thompson Sullivan! With a show as raw and emotionally demanding as August: Osage County, it is so important to have someone there to help our cast stay grounded. This story asks its actors to step into some incredibly heavy emotions, complicated relationships, painful memories, and difficult moments and sometimes, those feelings don’t immediately disappear when you step off the stage. That’s where Tennille comes in. It can be easy to get caught up in the negative emotions a character can leave with you but Tennille helps our cast separate themselves from those moments, come back to themselves, and leave those emotions where they belong…on the stage. She checks in, creates a safe and supportive space, and reminds us that taking care of the people telling the story is just as important as telling the story itself. Her presence throughout this production has been incredibly important and we are so thankful to have her as part of the team bringing this powerful story to life.

Meet the cast and crew of August: Osage County!

Meet our Barbara, played by the incredible Gena Rawdon! Barbara is such a strong and complex character, fiercely independent, sharp, guarded, and carrying far more beneath the surface than she lets on. Gena brings every layer of Barbara to life, from her strength and wit to the vulnerability that begins to show as old wounds and family tensions rise to the surface. At the heart of this story is a family forced to confront the things they’ve spent years avoiding and Barbara finds herself caught between the woman she has become and the family she came from.
